Juki Feeder RF series and Electronic feeder specification:

The new RF Series feeders are smaller and lighter than previous EF feeder models, and all of that while maintaining high accuracy. Also, the smaller size allows more feeders to fit on the machine which ultimately improves the productivity and flexibility.

EFseries(Single Lane)has a motor drive which provides smoother and higher speed presentation. These models include sizes from 8-88mm for a wide range of components. With the automatic pick position, the correction for improved pick accuracy is standard on all EFseries feeders.

The dual-lane electronic feeder holds two 8mm reels in the space of a single 17mm feeder. This means it automatically has the specification of doubling the component capacity of the machine. The higher capacity of the product provides greater flexibility for clustering a variety of PCBs and also reduces the need for additional machines.

The electronic belt-driven stick feeders provide reliable and a high speed component presentation. The additional feature of adjustable lane width provides greater flexibility for a variety of components and then it helps in reducing the need for dedicated feeders.

The Juki electric feeders automatically adjust the presentation position based on feedback from the centring system. All of this results in improved pick accuracy and higher opportunity for gang picking and higher speed placement. The intelligent feeders are available on RF, EF, and mechanical series feeders. A new CAN*1 Bus network is used on the RF or EF series improving the price performance. RFID*2 can be used with mechanical and EF series feeders. All models provide part verifications and traceability (optional) for unequalled factory floor control.

CF/FFseries features:

The CF series is reliable with accurate mechanical tape feeders and is available for all common SMT tape widths. Also, it is available in either fixed pitch or flexible pitch. These feeders are designed for simplicity, durability and highly reliable feeding.

Productivity has been improved by splicing feeder. The AF series feeders are designed to support tape splicing for fast, easy component replenishment during production. The Large AF feeders support splicing and can also accept deeper pocket tape for taller components such as electrolytic capacitors or connectors.

Feeder Options:

There are multiple options that the Juki feeder provides. These are as follows:

• The first is the Inspection that is also known as the calibration jig. The feeder adjustment jigs are available for both mechanical and electronic feeders. These jigs are used by maintenance personnel to periodically recalibrate the feeders in order to maintain high reliability and accuracy. The jigs are simple to use and include a monitor for adjustments and final check.
• The second option that it provide it users is the Feeder Stocker for Electric Feeder. There is an availability of maximum 80 Electric feeders that can be stored. This estimation is done based on 8mm feeder size.
• The third option that Juki Feeder provide is the Splicing function. The Splicing tape and jig provide reliable and inexpensive tape splices. Use of splicing can decrease downtime and increase productivity.
• The fourth option is the electric trolley Power Station PW01/PW02. The electric trolley power station provides power to electric feeders when they are off the machine. This can help in changeover time and provide a place to load feeders when preparing future jobs.
• The FCS (Flex Calibration System) of JUKI's which is highly regarded has the easiest maintenance. The optional FCS calibration jig is a simple to use system to re-calibrate placement accuracy. The machine automatically picks and places jig components, then measures the error and adjusts all necessary calibrations.
• The feeder trolley of Juki feeder is the industry leading design for easy replacement of an entire bank of feeders in seconds. There is single switch release with lock and no feeder reattaching required.
• The Component Verification System (CVS) measures the electrical resistance, capacitance or polarity to verify components have been loaded correctly on the machine.
• The Feeder Position Indicator has LEDs on the feeder bank indicate which feeder needs to be replaced or which feeder has an alarm, indicate location of feeders to be set during changeover, and help simplify feeder setup.
• The Bad Mark Reader detects the "bad circuit" marks on matrix type boards and skips placement of parts on all defective circuits, preventing waste.
• The SOT Direction Check Function provides the option that when the 3-terminal SOT is placed on the SOT direction check table, the parts feeding angle is checked by the OCC.
• Lastly, there is also an option of Feeder Setup Stand. The feeder setup stand provides a way to load tape into the electronic feeders off-line to improve efficiency. It holds the feeder stably and in a position that aids in loading.
